Annie is my broker for my first condo in Feb., 2016. As a professional in the building construction industry, I deal with construction drawings, zoning and building codes every day. But, talking to Annie gives me a different perspective on buildings. She knows zoning division in details, helping me to pick a condo in a very safe neighborhood since I will be a girl living by myself. She also understand important construction issues in residential real estates, which I should say is accurate in general. For example, she can point out how well/bad a floor plan is, and she has good ideas to modify floor plans into a better layout. She knows more than what she needs to know as a broker. It's a pleasure experience just to talk about buildings and houses with her!
What impress me most was her bargaining skill. She help me to buy the condo at the listed price after the condo had been on the market for 2.5 weeks. I noticed that the seller tried to raise the price a little bit, but somehow she pushed back several times. I was very happy with the price I was paying in the current market.
Last but not least, the list of contractor, handyman, carpet cleaner she recommended were also polite people easy to coordinate with. This is the most important thing in construction industry. Choosing contractors and sub-contractors you are not able to work with was the worst thing can be happened in the any construction projects since building costs by delays, RFIs, coordination can drastically increase your construction cost. I was not able to use their service at last since I am too far away from their service area ( my new home is in South San Francisco), I would definitely recommend people to use them if they need to do any home renovations.
Overall, Annie is very passionate about real estate. She has a strong team of staff from real estate transaction to building construction. I am eagered to see how her business is going to develop in the future, and I hope that I will be able to buy a house from her again!
